Investment in Character
We are full swing into the annual Investment in Character Campaign. As of February 23, the Spirit Trail District is at 36% of our $20,795 Family goal, and 62% of our $59,795 overall goal! We are well on the way! Be sure to get your Pack, Troop or Crew involved in supporting the growth of our campaign.
The importance of Investment in Character cannot be over-emphasized. Direct support from families and individuals makes up more than 25% of the Council's operating budget. It is that support that allows the Council to provide resources to our Districts and Units: a dedicated district professional, dedicated registrars, the handling of advancement and Eagle Scout paperwork, Council and District events, Council Camps, and most importantly - support for individual scouts in the form of registration assistance, uniform assistance and Camperships.
Please contact our Family IIC Chair (John Hoye) with the date of your next Court of Honor, your Blue and Gold Banquet, or other meeting at which you will have most of your parents and leaders present.

Roundtable is a great opportunity to get information, learn skills, share ideas, and network with other volunteers in Cass and Bates Counties that are doing what you're doing.

District Dinner and Silent Auction
Once a year we have the opportunity to recognize the wonderful volunteers that make things happen in our District, Packs, Troops and Crews. 2016 has been a phenomenal year, and the District Dinner committee is working hard to put together a great program to recognize the people and Units that have made us so successful. Please make plans to join us in celebrating all our successes.

District Work Day at Bartle
The District will be supporting the April 8th workday at Bartle.
Units are welcome to camp the night before and/or the night after. When you register, please indicate which, if any nights you will be camping. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
