Kaw District Adult Leader Awards

Applications are now open for 2024 nominations of Kaw District Adult leader recognitions! Click the links below to submit nominations! There is no need to submit more than one nomination for the same individual for the same award.

District Award of Merit: the highest honor Kaw District can bestow on volunteers. District award of merit nominees must be registered Scout volunteers who provide noteworthy service to youth in the district. "Noteworthy service" may consist of a single carried out plan, or decisions over time that have contributed vitally to the lives of large numbers of youth in Kaw District. Consideration will be given to the nominee's Scouting position and corresponding opportunity to render outstanding service beyond the expectations of that position. The nominee's attitude toward, cooperation with, and participation in Kaw District and Heart of America Council will also be taken into consideration.
