On Friday, October 10th, more than 170 people gathered at Union Station for the Sporting Clays Reception and Auction. More than 100 items were auctioned which included rifles, shotguns, handguns, hunting trips, theater tickets, hotel stays and more.
Then on Saturday October 11th, 184 shooters gathered at Theodore Naish Scout Reservation, on a beautiful day, ofor our annual Sporting Clays Classic on our 18 station, 100 round Sporting Clays Course. The weekend raised more than $97,000 from sponsorships and the auction.
This event would not have been possible without the support of the tournament committee, Co-chaired by Chris Hodgdon of Hodgdon Powder Company and Mark Larrabee, President of Arvest Bank. The committee included Scott Rowe, Mike Ulm, Gus Bader, Mike Swearingen, Ed Gooseman, Susan Williams, Dave Miller, Marc Elkins, Zack Shafran, Barry Sullivan and Robert Kline.
