Cub Scout Family Campout

The Cub Scout Campout will be on Oct. 9-10, 2026 at the American Legion Farm

Our Cub Scout Family Campout is a great way for Scouts and their families to explore the great outdoors. This overnight campout will feature games and activities designed for the entire family. Open to Cub Scouts and their families.  Fees are $14 per person.  This covers Friday night snack and Saturday Chris Cakes breakfast. 

All participants must complete parts A&B of the BSA Health Form

Blue Elk District Camporee

The Blue Elk District Camporee will be on Friday October 23 to Sunday October 25, 2026 at LaBenite Park in Sugar Creek, MO

This year's camporee will feature "The Amazing Scout Race" with fun Scouting activities and challenges along the way.  Health form A&B are required for all youth and adults. The fee will be $10 each youth and adult.

Blue Elk Pinewood Derby

The district race is an open championship to all Cub Scouts in the Blue Elk District and Arrow of Light Scouts who participated in the pack races but have crossed over this year. There will also be an Outlaw race for older youth in troops and for adults

Weigh Ins start @ 11:30am | Racing starts @ 12:00pm
