Introduced in 2022, the Blue Elk District's Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded at the Annual District Dinner to individuals who have given a lifetime of commitment to Scouting. The recipient(s) of the Lifetime Achievement Award are selected by the Dinner Committee. There is not an official recommendation form or application. Recommendations may be made to Kerry DeHann, Ken Horrell, or Phillip Davis, though this award is not necessarily awarded every year.

Special Considerations: THE RECIPIENT OF THIS AWARD IS NOT NOTIFIED THAT THEY WILL BE RECEIVING THIS AWARD. Every effort should be made to get the recipient to the Annual District Awards Dinner without their knowledge that they will be receiving this award.
