Shawnee Trails District serves the Shawnee Mission School District. Shawnee Trails District and the Heart of America Council is dedicated to supporting the volunteer Scout leaders in the local Scout units as they provide the programs of the Boy Scouts of America to the youth of this area.

2019 School Night for Scouting Kick Off:
Packs should save the date for our annual School Night for Scouting Kick Off training on Tuesday, July 30th. We will be holding our annual training for leaders at the Johnson County Central Resource Library, 9875 W. 87th St, Overland Park, KS 66212. The training will be from 6-8PM.
Those that should planning on attending: Cubmaster, Committee Chair, New Member Coordinator, Den Leader, and other Pack leaders that have a stake in recruitment and your program. We will be rolling out a new format this year, that is sure to be a success! For more info please contact, Matt Thoman.
