And right here in the Heart of America Council, our Scouts are learning more than just how to explore the great outdoors and earn badges. We are preparing our Scouts to lead effectively, manage conflict, become role models and set goals for their future.
Since 1910, Scouting has helped mold the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. Through more than a century of experience, we know that helping youth succeed puts us on a path toward a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. Our Scouts are learning the building blocks of leadership from the moment they join.
