30 Under 30 Eagle Scouts

Becoming an Eagle Scout is the pinnacle of Scouting and is the definition of perseverance and hard work. Eagle Scout is a title that stays with you your entire life and is proof that you are among Scouting’s elite. After a month long search and hundreds of applicants, our council is honored to present our inaugural 30 Under 30 Eagle Scout Class.

Allison Adlich

Airman 1st Class, 131st Bomb Wing Missouri National Guard
Student - University of Missouri, Columbia

Allison graduated summa cum laude from Warrensburg High School in May 2021. Upon graduation she enlisted as an Airman 1st Class with the 131st Bomb Wing Missouri Air National Guard as an Aerospace Medical Technician. Allison currently attends the University of Missouri – Columbia where she is active in Air Force ROTC, the Sijan Honor Guard, and the Tiger Rucking Team. She is pursuing a degree in Nursing and upon graduation will commission as an Air Force officer.

Allison was also a member of the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts and held the leadership positions of Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. She continues to hold herself accountable and to a higher standard by following the values of the Scout Oath and Law. She is also a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.

Dalton Archer

Now an environmental scientist for Blackstone Environmental, Dalton Archer's love for the outdoors began at a young age and through Scouting. With a career focused on protecting the environment, Dalton is part of a team of engineers, geologists and scientists that provide premier environmental engineering and consulting solutions through proven best practices and innovative technologies.

Dalton continues to be a tremendous role model and mentor for younger Scouts. While in college at the University of Missouri, he volunteered as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 6 in Columbia. After graduating in May 2021 with a degree in Natural Resources Science and Management: Fisheries & Wildlife, he began serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 314 in Kansas City.

Senn Boswell

From the time Senn first became a Tenderfoot Scout, he took to heart that advancing through the ranks of Scouting was based on hard work and merit. He took to heart that the challenges set before him would make him a better leader and man. His leadership journey started at the troop level as Patrol Leader and Sr. Patrol Leader and continued into 7 years of dedicated service as a Camp Naish staff member, and as Tamegonit Lodge Chief. 

At Roanoke College he continued to demonstrate leadership and service including serving as Head Resident Advisor and Student Body President. As a legislative aid, he now serves the citizens of Missouri as a legislative aide to Senator Roy Blunt.

Jeff Byous

IT Systems Administrator
Raymore-Peculiar School District

Jeff has lived the Scout Oath and Law every day of his life. He is well-respected and successful in his career, being named Raytown School District's IT Support Staff of the Year in May 2021. He now works as a Systems Administrator at Raymore-Peculiar School District.

BSA means a great deal to Jeff and he still gives back to Scouting on a regular basis. He helped his two younger brothers and any other younger Scouts who asked, earn their Eagle by helping with their projects and by urging, prodding, and providing examples of how the rank would help them in life. He continued to camp with his unit until the age of 22, and still visits Bartle every summer to support the staff and the campers.

Joseph Camacho

Joseph has applied to start a six-year medical school program at UMKC in August 2022. During high school, he was able to earn 70 hours of college credit, played varsity football, volleyball and track. He won state in his Science Olympiad event in 2021 after competing in M.I.T's invitational tournament the year before.

Joseph also attended a medical leadership camp at Northwestern University in Chicago, interned for a physician the second semester of his junior year, and traveled to Pune India for a short-term mission trip in 2017.

Lewis Chapman

Lewis Chapman is currently an IT Project Assistant at the Bank of Prairie Village and provides day to day support and management for all technology, security, and advancement of the organization. Lewis attributes the lessons he learned in Scouting to help him in every part of his job including risk detection and mitigation, project planning, and helping and teaching others.
 
Lewis attended Rockhurst High School and later graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Computer Engineering. A long-time camp staff member at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, Lewis credits his Scouting experience for giving him the knowledge and experience to adapt to nearly any situation, making him a better person.

Connor Clary

Connor epitomizes what we have come to expect from all Eagles - someone who learned to lead, then led and kept giving back to his community. A leader is someone who makes others better and Connor certainly has done that for years. Connor has served as a Philmont Staff member for 2 summers and graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri.

While in Columbia, Connor was a Victim Advocate for the True North domestic violence shelter and was a nursing home social work intern. Currently, Connor is an Education and Outreach Specialist at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA).

Dr. Brendan Cokingtin, MD

Brendan graduated from Creighton University in 2016 earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, summa cum laude. He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2020 and currently is in his second-year of residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He was named outstanding resident educator by medical students he taught last year at the Clinic.

Brendan's twin brother, Kevin, is also an Eagle Scout and in the medical field. Both were selected as members of our inaugural 30 Under 30 Eagle Scout Class.

Dr. Kevin Cokingtin, MD

Kevin Graduated from Creighton University summa cum laude in 2016 earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2020 and is currently in his second-year of residency in Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. 

Kevin’s twin brother, Brendan is also an Eagle Scout and and both are members of the inaugural class of 30 Under 30 Eagle Scouts. Both attended summer camp at Bartle and enjoyed teaching the younger Scouts. Kevin continued teaching in college and served as a tutor in math and chemistry.

Sadie Creemer

Sadie Creemer is currently attending the University of Oregon and majoring in Planning, Public Policy and Management with a minor in Sustainable Business. Sadie is a Stamps scholar and student in the Clark Honors College. She is also a member of the University of Oregon Marching Band, Sailing Team, Planning, Public Policy and Management Student Advisory Board, and on a research team for the city of Eugene Transportation Department.

In Scouting, Sadie was the founding Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 7220 and was a member of the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts. Sadie also continues to serve as a camp staff member at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation and is a Gold Award recipient.

Alexis Dominic

Alexis Dominic is a shining example of what a Scout should be. A member of the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts, Alexis encompasses all of the Scouting values, especially servant leadership. Alexis strives to be a role model and serves in many volunteer roles for organizations from Scouting to the Special Olympics.

Alexis is a student at Blue Valley Southwest High School. She currently serves on the state board for Kansas Business Professionals of America as well as several other clubs within her school. Alexis is a true leader to all those around her and is also a multi-sport athlete at Blue Valley Southwest. In Scouting, Alexis served in numerous leadership positions including Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.

Evanna Dominic

Evanna Dominic is one of the first women to become an Eagle Scout and credits her journey to Eagle for teaching her the value of hard work and service to the community. Evanna is currently a senior at Blue Valley Southwest. She was recently recognized as a 2022 Coca-Cola Scholar and was one of only 150 recipients selected from more than 80,000 applicants nationwide.  Evanna is also passionate about giving back to her school and community. She is president of her school's Diversity Club, a District Executive for Relay for Life, and president of ReBEl Club. Evanna is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society, and Science National Honor Society. As the Kansas Business Professionals of America State Treasurer, Evanna has also made significant impacts on the business world as the social media manager for the Kansas BPA organization.

David Keith Gregory II

David Gregory currently works as an Assistant Manager for Gym Operations at the Indian Hills Country Club and Jewish Community Center. Part of his work includes assisting with oversight of club operations and guaranteeing an exceptional member experience. The leadership and interpersonal skills David learned in Scouting help him excel in his role. Proud to be an Eagle Scout, David promotes the Scouting principles wherever he goes.

As a part of the Scouting program for most of his youth, David was a member of Pack 3097 in Cub Scouting and later bridged over and joined Troop 257 in Overland Park, Kansas, where he earned his Eagle rank.

Archer Grier

Archer Grier is a third generation Eagle Scout and is currently active in Scouts BSA Troop 169, Sea Scout Ship 7007, and Venturing Crew 2007. He received his Eagle Scout award in October of 2021. Archer’s grandfather was a Scout in the 1930's and always encouraged his children and grandchildren to be involved in Scouting. Archer was the fifth grandson of the Kneib family to earn the rank of Eagle, and proudly joined his cousins to complete a full generation of Eagle Scouts.

Archer also plays the tuba in the school band and is a member of the NE Kansas Honor Band.

Cameron J. Hamm

Nuclear Engineer
United States Coast Guard

Cameron Hamm works as an auditor at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and is also a qualified Shift Test Engineer who focuses on reactor safety. Cameron was selected to attend the United States Merchant Marine Academy and graduated with a degree in Marine Engineering Systems. He is a Licensed 3rd Assistant Engineer with the United States Coast Guard and is commissioned in the United States Naval Reserves. Cameron led his peers in the academy and was a member of the Honor Guard, Honor Board, and was the chairperson for the Kings Point Moral Science Society, a group which focuses on ethics.

Beyond his military service, Cameron serves as a Town Councilor for Kittery, Maine, a role he was elected to in 2021. He enjoys meeting with his constituents and working with his fellow Council members to make Kittery a better place to live.

Ahmed Jakmouj

The principles of the Scout Oath and Law continue to guide Eagle Scout Ahmed Jakmouj throughout his life. Ahmed attended the University of Kansas and later the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs to pursue his passion in sports. He is now the Experience Associate for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Ahmed has helped the team earn awards from their national association for ticket sales. His work with the Colorado youth soccer league in conjunction with the Switchbacks has also been recognized both locally and nationally. Ahmed also continues his service to Scouting and also volunteers with a local Scout troop in Colorado.

Charles Thomas Jantzen

A 2020 service academy appointee, Charles Thomas Jantzen is a U.S. Naval Academy Midshipman. He is a graduate of Blue Springs High School and has always demonstrated the attributes and attitudes that an Eagle Scout should be. Charles continues to live a life of service and credits the lessons he learned in Scouting for helping him pursue a calling in the U.S. Navy.

An honor roll student and multi-sport athlete, Charles has excelled not only in Scouting, but in the classroom and on the field as well.

John Lubianetsky

Foreign Language Fellow
University of Kansas


John Lubianetsky has received national and international acclaim for his burgeoning work in the field of international relations and nuclear security. He was selected by the International Atomic Energy Agency as one of three young professionals under the age of 35 to present policy proposals to diplomats and nuclear security experts at the International Conference on Nuclear Security in Vienna, Austria. John was the youngest and only American to win this award.

John has also been recognized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. Now a foreign language fellow at the University of Kansas, John is a triple major in Political Science, Global International Studies, and Chinese Language and Literature.

Jacob Daniel Martin

Jacob applied the skills he learned in Scouting to realize success in the music education program at the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 2021 with a bachelors in Music Education. Now a middle school choir director at Kettle Moraine Middle School in Wisconsin, Jacob is ensuring the youth he works with have positive educational opportunities and get to experience the same nourishing and supportive environment he did growing up.  

Jacob is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. The skills he learned and developed as a Scout on the trail to Eagle have resulted in tremendous self confidence, self sufficiency, and dedication to goals. The strength of character developed in Scouts has allowed him to have an excellent experience as a first year teacher.

Robert McReynolds

Clinical Site Director
Meridian Clinical Research

Robert McReynolds is a Clinical Site Director for Meridian Clinical Research in Lincoln, Nebraska. He is a graduate from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a degree in Forensic Science. Robert was hired by Meridian to start and build their new Clinical site in Lincoln, their fastest growing research site to date. The site he manages includes 10 total exam rooms and a 14-person staff with zero personnel turnover, a testament to Robert's leadership abilities. 

Robert began his tenure in Scouting as a Tiger Scout and would eventually join Troop 284 where he would earn his Eagle. He has also served on the camp staff at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation for several summers.

Steven Ozaki

Steven Ozaki currently works as an English Language teacher in China. A graduate from the University of Kansas, Steven holds dual degrees in Business Administration and Chinese. From a young age, Steven knew that he wanted to pursue a career in international business and hopes that his work in China will set the groundwork for that field.

In Scouting, Steven was a member of Troop 60 from Lawrence, Kansas. He has served as a member of the camp staff at the Theodore Naish Scout Reservation. Through his tenure in Scouting, Steven was an active member of the Tamegonit Lodge of the Order of the Arrow. As a Vigil Member, he has held various leadership roles in the Lodge including Lodge Chief.

Jacob Peterson

Jacob Peterson currently serves as a full-time Park Ranger for the state of Colorado. He credits the exploration and sense of community that Scouting provides as a determining factor into his career choice.

Jacob served seven summers on the Theodore Naish Scout Reservation camp staff. For his Eagle Project, he built a gourd trestle for the Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries’ urban orchard.

Justin B. Prelogar

Judge Advocate General's Corps - U.S. Navy 

Justin B. Prelogar holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. While at Penn Law, Justin served as Class President, Managing Editor for the Journal of International Law, and was awarded the Exceptional Pro Bono Service Award, the Legal Horizons Rule of Law Fellowship, and the Noyes E. Leech Prize for the highest achievement in international law.

Justin has worked in the U.S. Capitol, the Department of Justice, the United Nations, and the White House. Justin is currently stationed in Italy where he serves as a Trial Counsel at the Region Legal Service Office Europe Africa Central. Justin is also an editor for the Naval Law Review, a judge for the Jessup International Moot Court, and an Asst. Cubmaster for Pack 007 in the Transatlantic Council.

Malcolm Proudfit

As the CEO of Good Energy Solutions, Malcolm Proudfit has been an embodiment of the Scouting principles. Based in Lawrence, Kansas, Malcolm's company works to provide Solar Energy to residential and commercial spaces in an effort to provide his customers with honest, real solutions to reduce their fossil fuel consumption and lower their long-term energy costs. Malcolm holds bachelor's degrees from Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Kansas. Beyond his career, Malcolm is civic minded and engages with his community through involvement with local charities, as well as his local church congregation. Above all, Malcolm is a family man, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kira, and their three children. 

He credits the connections he makes because of his Scouting background as a reason for his success. Malcolm earned his Eagle Scout when he was 14 years old. He cherishes his scouting experience, especially the time spent with his Scoutmaster and father, who is also an Eagle Scout.

Ryan J. Roberts

General Manager
Chappell's Restaurant & Sports Museum

Ryan Roberts is the General Manager at Chappell’s Restaurant and Sports Museum in North Kansas City. He attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received a degree in Business Management and holds a Culinary Certificate from Johnson County Community College. As the General Manager, Ryan is responsible for all aspects of the restaurant including managing the staff, handling payroll, ordering supplies from vendors, and more.

In Scouting, Ryan served as a Senior Patrol Leader and  Den Leader. He also served as a staff member at the Summit Bechtel Reserve during the inaugural National Jamboree.

Becker Truster is the Student Body President at Friends University where he is currently a Junior. He is an honors student in the accelerated master's in business administration program where he plans to earn his CPA and pursue a career in accounting. An accomplished musician, Becker received the Sebits Fine Arts Scholarship and plays bassoon and saxophone in both the concert and jazz bands and the Latin Jazz ensemble. While at Friends University, Becker helped start the Friends Falcons Pep Band, revive the school yearbook, start a school newspaper, and was elected Homecoming King, a testament to his campus involvement and leadership ability.

In Scouting, Becker was an active member of Troop 0199 holding various leadership roles including Senior Patrol Leader and Troop Guide.

Sammy Wheeler

Sammy Wheeler is a former Tight End for the Kansas State University Wildcats. An accomplished quarterback in high school, Sammy was ranked as the nation’s 39th-best dual-threat quarterback by ESPN and the sixth-best player in Kansas. Sammy played in 30 games for the Wildcats where he had 212 receiving yards. He earned a degree in Kinesiology from K-State in 2021.

In Scouting, Sammy was a member of Troop 265 in Olathe, Kansas. Earning the rank of Eagle is a family tradition with Sammy’s dad and older brother obtaining Scouting's highest honor. Currently his younger brother is a Life Scout working toward Eagle.

Ryan Lewis Woodrome

Longview Community College

Ryan Woodrome is currently a student in the Grandview C4 School District. As a part of his schooling, Ryan is enrolled as an Auto Collisions student at the Herndon Career Center and is attending Longview Community College where he is a student in the Automotive Program. Beyond his academic pursuits, Ryan also holds a part-time job, a testament to his ability to balance school and work.

Ryan’s Scouting career began as a Tiger Cub in Pack 364 before he joined Troop 364 in Grandview, Missouri. Ryan has served as a Den Leader providing leadership and serving as a role model to the younger Scouts. He is a recipient of the World Conservation Award, the Den Chief Service Award, and has been awarded three Eagle Palms.

AY Young

Activist, Producer, Musician
Founder of Battery Tour

An "Outlet" for change, AY Young is a producer, singer, songwriter, entertainer, influencer, and entrepreneur who promotes sustainability through his Battery Tour and concerts that are fully powered using renewable energy - an idea that emerged from his Eagle Scout Project.

So far, the Battery Tour has “plugged-in” in 17 countries where he works to raise awareness around sustainability. A testament to his advocacy, AY was recently selected from a group of 18,000 artists to be one of 17 Youth Leaders for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations. Currently, AY is working on a Global Goals album labeled “Project 17” with various artists around the world to promote the SDGs goals.

Stuart Zizzo

Event Technical Specialist
Summit Bechtel Reserve

Stuart Zizzo works as the Event Technical Specialist for The Summit Bechtel Reserve, one of the BSA’s high adventure bases. At the Summit, Stuart works to capture and share the excitement of attending a high adventure in an effort to promote Scouting and the Summit. He is a graduate from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Graphic Communications and Digital Media.

In Scouting, Stuart was a member of Troop 91 out of Leawood, Kansas where he held various roles including Senior Patrol Leader. He is a former camp staff member at both the Theodore Naish and H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservations. In addition to obtaining his Eagle Rank, Stuart has been awarded 8 Eagle Palms.
