Commissioners are the only commissioned volunteers in the Boy Scouts of America. The commissioner staff serves as mentors to unit leaders. They share their Scouting expertise and experience, help units recharter, and encourage the full use of Scouting resources and programs.
Each unit has a unit commissioner assigned to help unit leaders offer the highest quality Scouting experience possible to our youth members. District Commissioner Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Lawrence.
If you are missing roundtable, you are missing out. Learn more about our district's and council's program resources as well as some great activities. You also have a chance to meet other Scouters who are leading dens, packs, troops and crews. It is a great opportunity to network and pick up new ideas. Roundtables are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 1330 Kasold Drive in Lawrence. We hope to see you there!
