Sporting Clays Tournament, October 10-11, 2014, Theodore Naish Scout Reservation. Saturday Flight A Check-in 8:30 a.m.., Flight B Check-in 12:00 noon. Lunch will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.
Mark your calendar for the weekend of October 10-11, 2014 for the Heart of America Council annual Shooting Sports Extravaganza. Starting Friday night, October 10th, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. you can join us for a reception and Auction at Union Station. During the reception you will have an opportunity to take part in silent and live auctions consisting of home and outdoor items, shotguns, hunting trips, hotel stays, theater tickets, and a lot more.
Then on Friday October 10th and Saturday October 11, 2014 you can round up your four man team and join us for a 100 round sporting clays tournament that winds through the woods at Theodore Naish Scout Reservation Trust Property. This fun event drew more than 160 shooters last year. Lunch will also be provided. Entry to the event is at the Southwest corner gate. Take Kansas Avenue East off of K-7 Hwy in Bonner Springs. Head East on Kansas Avenue to 122nd Street. Turn left, go 100 feet to gate. There will be volunteers directing you to park.
The Tournament and Banquet is Co-chaired by Chris Hodgdon of Hodgdon Powder Company and Mark Larrabee, President of Arvest Bank. A team of 4 can participate in the Tournament, and attend the reception for $1,200. Other sponsorships are also available.
