Scouts BSA

The traditional Scouting program, Scouts BSA is for young men and women ages 11-17. The program helps youth develop outdoor survival skills, self-confidence, and ethics through youth planned activities with increased attention to service, community engagement, and leadership.

Venturing

Venturing is a youth-led program where Scouts experience positive mentorship and develop leadership skills in a fun, supportive environment. Venturing is open to young men and women ages 14-17.

And right here in the Heart of America Council, our Scouts are learning more than just how to explore the outdoors and earn badges. We are preparing our Scouts to lead effectively, manage conflict, become role models and set goals for their future. 

Scouting also creates lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. It offers youth a safe, inclusive space to discover who they are and how they can make a difference in the world.
