
Take a hike and join us at the Boy Scouts of America's largest National High Adventure Base. The mountains of New Mexico will offer you unforgettable adventures
in backpacking, horseback riding, gold panning, burrow packing, and chuckwagon dinners. Memories and friends will be made and challenges will be overcome while rock climbing, mountain biking, and sport shooting in the rugged outdoors of the rocky trails all while enjoying the amazing views from peaks over 10,000 feet tall.
The Heart of America Council will be sending two crews to Philmont July 16- July 31, 2023 (including travel). Each crew will be comprised of 3 adults and 9 youth from across the 19 counties that make up the Heart of America Council. Participants must be registered members of the BSA who will be 14 years of age OR completed 8th grade and be at
least 13 years of age prior to participation. Please do NOT request or expect any exceptions to this rule. A participant who is 18 to 20 years of age may be counted as a youth or be an assistant adult advisor.
Each participant will need to pay their $300 non-refundable deposit in order to secure their spot on the crew. Total fee $1,600 per person.

Campership Application - Needs to be turned into the Council Office by December 17, 2022 for treks taking place Summer 2023. Any applications turned in after this date are not guaranteed assistance.
