Del Wilkinson — Trailing Gray Cloud

At the 2005 Tribal Celebration, Del Wilkinson, Keeper of the Wampum Trailing Gray Cloud, was named as the 76th Presiding Chieftain of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
Del Wilkinson was a Boy Scout as a youth in Troop 167 in Sugar Creek, MO. Del earned the rank of Eagle Scout and the God and Country award. Del became a Brave in 1956, a Warrior in 1957, and a Firebuilder in 1958. In 1999, Del was elevated to Sachem and in 2004 he was elevated to Keeper of the Wampum.
Del has been involved with the Heart of America Council as a member of the Executive Board and Executive Committee. He has served as the Council Community Friends of Scouting Chairman and is currently serving as the Council Commissioner.
Del has previously served as a Unit Commissioner and District Chairman for the Thunderbird District. In 2001, Del served as a member of the National Jamboree staff.
Del has received the highest award that can be bestowed by the Heart of America Council, the Silver Beaver Award. He has also received the District Award of Merit from the Thunderbird District, and the Bronze Pelican Award from the Diocese of Kansas City/St Joseph.
In 2013, Del was awarded the Silver Antelope by the Boy Scouts of America for his distinguished service to the Central Region.
Professionally, Del is an accomplished business executive and civic leader in the Kansas City area. He is a Senior Vice President of Cook Composites and a Deacon in the Catholic Church.
