At the 2012 Tribal Celebration, David Frantze, Keeper of the Wampum Silver Blue River, was named the 83rd Presiding Chieftain of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
As a youth, David was a Boy Scout in Troop 421 in Kansas City, MO where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. David became a Brave in 1971 and a Warrior in 1994. In 2002, David was elevated to Sachem and then in 2007, David was elevated to Keeper of the Wampum.
David has served in several leadership positions for both Pack and Troop 601 in Kansas City, MO including Pack Committee Chairman, Scoutmaster, and Chartered Organization Representative. David has also served the Thunderbird District as a member of the District Committee and District Chairman. David has served as a member of the Heart of America Council Board of Directors since 2004 and currently serves as the President of the council.
David has received the James E. West Fellowship Award and the District Award of Merit. In addition, David received the highest award that can be bestowed by the Heart of America Council, the Silver Beaver Award.
David is active in his community by providing leadership to the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Civic Council of Kansas City, Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, KC BizPAC, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Kansas City Area Development Council, and the Kansas City Area Life Science Institute.
Professionally, David is a partner with Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP specializing in real estate law.
David and his wife Geri have 4 children, a daughter and 3 Eagle Scout sons.
