High Trail District Friends of Scouting
The Friends of Scouting Campaign keeps Scouting an affordable, effective youth development program. It funds the council's infrastructure, or general operating portion of the budget, and provides a support system for the more than 18,000 volunteers and 700 community organizations that partner with the Heart of America Council.
The campaign is divided into two separate efforts: The Friends of Scouting Community Campaign, which seeks contributions from businesses, community leaders, and friends of the Scouting movement, and the Friends of Scouting Patron Campaign, which seeks contributions at the annual Heart of America Council Patron Lunch at Bartle Hall.
Outside influences and life experiences contribute to the values and beliefs we carry with us throughout our lives. In society today, there are any opportunities for youth to make the wrong choices or follow a leader who will lead them astray. While Scouting can't remove the obstacles in life, it teaches young people to face challenges, manage risks and overcome barriers - to grow up strong, resilient and wise. Today's youth need Scouting and Scouting needs you. Support what counts... Character.
Your donation for the High Trail District will support our location units; giving Scouts in our community a chance to purchase uniforms, pay for registration, attend summer camp, and experience everything Scouting has to offer.
