 fn.us/form/dl8lgQ What is it? Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (I
 OLS) is a hands-on training program to give adult leaders the practical ou
 tdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the outdoors. Note: IOLS and BALO
 O Training are no longer combined. Cub Scout BALOO Training has been combi
 ned with the Den Leader Outdoor Experience (DOE) and is scheduled for a la
 ter date. Who? Requirement for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters to 
 complete Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training. All attendees must be reg
 istered Scouters. To receive the training patch all on-line Scouts BSA – S
 coutmaster Position Specific Training needs to be completed in advance. Wh
 en? Course registration is online and begins February 1 and closes March 2
 5. IOLS check-in is between 5:00 and 6:00pm on Friday\, April 1. Course en
 ds 6:00pm Saturday evening. Where? Theodore Naish Scout Reservation is loc
 ated at 1100 Martinek Lane\, Kansas City\, KS 66111. Campsite Seaton is in
  South Camp. Entering from the main entrance of camp take the first right 
 at South Camp Road and continue right at the stop sign to South Camp. Foll
 ow the road to South Camp\, Campsite Seaton’s parking lot is the first lot
  on the right. Food? Participants should eat dinner before arriving Friday
 . All other food\, snacks\, and beverages will be provided as part of the 
 registration. Special Dietary Requests can be made for religious and medic
 al exemptions only. Requests must be made before March 25\, via email to a
  course instructor below. Registration? Pre-registration is required\, no 
 walk-ins will be permitted. Registration is $20/person. Register online\, 
 before March 25. All participants must provide a current BSA Annual Health
  and Medical Record\, Parts A and B. At the time of the training additiona
 l forms and/or face coverings may be required based on the current Scouts 
 BSA and County medical protocols. Insurance? Liability\, as well as Sickne
 ss and Accident Insurance\, are provided to all registered members and lea
 ders of the Heart of America Council. Equipment? You are responsible for p
 roviding your own tent\, camp chair\, personal overnight gear\, Scout Basi
 c Essentials\, Scout Uniform\, and seasonally appropriate clothing. Use th
 e checklist below as a guide. Carry a light load of only what you need as 
 the parking lot will be a short hike to access the training area. Please p
