Trailhead District Merit Badge Forum

January 9, 2016 and January 30, 2016

  • Check-in 8:00 a.m.
  • First Class 8:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Break 10:30-10:45 a.m.
  • Second Class 10:45-12:45 p.m.


Church of the Resurrection

The Trailhead District Merit Badge Forum will be help on January 9th and January 30th. Deadline for registration isDecember 18th. For a complete list of all merit badges being offered please click on the Merit Badge Forum Link on the Trailhead District home page.

Volunteers are needed to teach merit badges, help monitor the facility and with sign-in. Please contact Herb Strain at thdmbf@aol,com if you can help.

Classes are filled as rosters are received. The earlier your roster is submitted, the more likely your Scouts are to receive their first choices.

Enrollment is capped at 675 Scouts.

Scouts: $2 – regardless of the number of merit badge classes


Trailhead District Awards and Recognition Banquet

The final event for the Trailhead District will be the annual Awards and Recognition Banquet on February 16, 2016. This year's event will be held at the KU Edwards Campus and will honor the "Best of the Best" in the Trailhead District for 2015.

The District Award of Merit is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an individual for service to the Trailhead District. Three recipients will be named.

Recommendations due: January 7, 2016

Trailhead District Outstanding Leader Award Recommendation

The Trailhead District Awards Banquet will be held at the KU Edwards Campus Best Conference Center on February 16th.
