What is it?
The Cub Scout Family Campout is an opportunity for boys and their families to start the Cub Scout year with a fun outdoor event. This overnight campout will feature games and activities for the entire family.

A parent/guardian must accompany and be responsible for each Cub Scout and other youth for the entire event.
This is a rain or shine event. In case of severe weather, contact the individuals listed below. Payment is non-refundable.
Cost is $8 per person (includes adults and siblings) - Cash or check only - Fee covers food and program
Breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning. Be sure to eat dinner prior to attending. All will depart before lunch on Saturday.
What to Bring?
Each family is responsible for their own camping gear. Suggested items include: Tent, tarp, ground cloth; Sleeping bag, pillow, camp chair; Rain gear, change of clothes; Durable shoes; 3 bottles of water per person; Toiletries; Hat, flashlight, insect repellant. Please do not bring: Knives, saws, axes, etc; Electronics like radios and tvs; Alcohol, firearms, fireworks, pets.
No pre-registration necessary. To help with traffic and to avoid confusion, all packs are advised to carpool. Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the Heart of America Council.
