Cub Scout Family Campout

Cub Scout Family Campout is an overnight campout for new Cub Scouts in the fall. Over 400 people came in 2013 and enjoyed snacks, breakfast, campfire and plenty of games and fun!  Join us September 26-27, 2014 for this fun short campout.

Pinewood Derby

Join us February 8, 2014! We will have over 150 racers, hilarious skits and door prizes! It will also feature a "Run What You Brung" so your whole family can race a car!  For more information contact Sean McCombs at smccombs@laufer.com

Camporee

Camporee is a fun filled weekend for all Webelos, Boy Scouts and Venturers. The 2014 North Star Camporee has some big changes coming up this year so check back often to see the new line up of competition activities, merit badges and exhibitions! The 2014 Camporee is set for October 3-4, 2014 at Kelsey Short Campground in Smithville!

District Dinner

Scouts and Scouters of the North Star District will gather for food, fellowship and fun as we celebrate our accomplishments and outstanding performers of the past year. Held every year in January. In 2013 we had an amazing 250+ scouters and 64 young men that earned the Eagle Award in 2012, in attendance. Highlights include:

Webelos Woods

Webelos Woods is an exciting overnight campout for all Webelos to experience what Boy Scouts is all about! Due to the Scouting 500 event in May 2014, there will be no Webelos Woods in 2014.

Order of the Arrow, Chapter 7, Rendezvous

Every spring the North Star Chapter of Order of the Arrow host a event to have fun and to call on those that have been elected by there peers to be members of the Order of the Arrow.
