On June 30, 2005, Timothy C. Bugg became the nineth Directing Chief of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
 

Tim Bugg was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He was active in scouting as a youth and achieved the rank of Eagle. He attended the 1967 World Jamboree, which he still views as one of the highlights of his scouting experience. As a youth he was also a finalist for a local award, the Armco Steel Self Reliance Award. He graduated from Berea College in 1974 with a degree in history. In college he ran track, was a sprinter and was also a member of the Pi Gamma Mu honors fraternity.

 

Tim Bugg started his career with the Boy Scouts as a District Executive in 1975 where he also served as Senior District Executive from 1982 to 1984. From 1984 to 1989, Tim was Field Director in Orlando, Florida. Since then Tim has served as a Scout Executive in Waycross, Georgia until 1994; Toledo, Ohio until 1999; and most recently in New Orleans, Louisiana.
