Program
The Boy Scouts of America provides programs for boys ages 7 - 20 and girls ages 14 - 20.
Tiger Cubs
A school-year program for first grade (or 7 year old) boys, and their adult partners that stresses simplicity, shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.
Cub Scouting
A year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness.
Boy Scouting
A program for boys 11 through 17 designed to develop character, citizenship, and fitness. Through the advancement program and peer group leadership, Scouting helps a boy develop into a well-rounded young man.
Venturing
A development program for young men and women 14 years of age (and in the 9th grade) through 20 years old offering fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship and physical fitness.
Youth Protection
The Boy Scouts of America is committed to protecting the young people it serves. There are set guidelines for reporting abuse, remember, Youth Protection Begins With YOU

Activities
There are several activities happening that packs, troops, crews, and teams can become involved in! Check out the Community Activities, Jamboree, Mini-Camp Weekends, and Merit Badge pages to see how to become involved.
International Scouting
The Boy Scouts of America is part of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) which recognizes Scouting programs in at least 216 countries.
Advancement & Awards
Scouting offers a rich experience of rank advancement in all of its programs and awards both youth and adults for their achievements.
Training
Scoutreach
Emphasizes service to rural and urban areas and to minority populations.

Districts are directly responsible for the operation of Scouting units and, except for the district executive, are mostly staffed with volunteers.
Big Muddy
Ray, Lafayette and Carroll Counties in Missouri.
Blue Elk
Eastern Jackson County, Missouri; Blue Springs, Buckner, Grain Valley, Independence, Oak Grove, Sibley and Sugar Creek.
Exploring
A career awareness program for young men and women ages 14 through 20 which helps match career ambitions with community and business resources of the Kansas City area.
Frontier
All Troops participating in the Scoutreach Program.
Kaw
Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas.
Lone Bear
Johnson, Henry, Bates and St. Clair Counties in Missouri.
North Star
Platte and Clay Counties in Missouri, plus the Lawson and Excelsior Springs School Districts in Ray County, Missouri.
Northern Tier
Northern Johnson County Kansas; DeSoto, Shawnee, Overland Park, Merriam, Mission, Roeland Park, Fairway, Mission Hills and Prairie Village, North of 75th Street.
Pelathe
Douglas County, Kansas.
Pioneer Trails
Metropolitan Kansas City including the Kansas City, Missouri and Center School Districts.
Red-Tailed Hawk
South central Johnson County Kansas; South of the I-35 and 69 highway intersection, West of 69 highway and East of I-35 South to Clare Road.
Thunderbird
Southern Jackson County Missouri, and all of Cass County including Raytown, Lee's Summit, Lake Lotawana, Lake Winnebago, Martin City, Grandview, Lone Jack and Greenwood.
Trailhead
Eastern Johnson County Kansas; south of 75th street and east of 69 highway.
Trails West
Southwestern Johnson County Kansas bounded by 75th Street on the North, I-35 and Claire Road on the East, and 143rd St and Moonlight Road to the West.
Twin Rivers
Anderson, Franklin, Linn,and Miami counties in Kansas.
