Serving Southern Johnson County, Kansas between Interstate 35 and Highway 69, including the cities and towns of Olathe, Overland Park, Stanley, and Spring Hill.
Activities
The Red-Tailed Hawk District and all of it's terriffic adult volunteers put on a number of tremendous events for the Scouts in Southern Johnson County. These events are Merit Badge Forum, District Pinewood Derby, District Adult and Eagle Recognition Dinner, Webelos Woods, Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout Family Campout, and Fall Camporee. Cub Scout Day Camp
Cub Scouts of all ages are invited to join us for the funnest week of Summer Vacation!!! Just a few of the great things we will be doing during the week are; BB Guns, Archery (Bows and Arrows), Slingshots, Fishing, The Bull Ride, and much more. Membership
Youth membership is the Life Blood of the Boy Scouts of America. The only way to maintain a healthy membership is to provide top quality District Activities, promote the importance of Summer Camp, and provide the best Training availiable to every registered Adult Leader.
